Coate Water Care - Church View care home.

"...And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count.

It's the life in your years..."

(Abraham Lincoln)

We believe that our elders deserve the best of care, service, respect and as much independence and support to pursue their own interests as is desired. Coate Water Care is dedicated to ensuring that life at our homes are fulfilling and stimulating.

Church View is a private, well established care home which provides nursing care. Situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Stratton, it is easily accessible by public transport and within walking distance of a local shop, post office and park.

The purpose built home is beautifully decorated to create a warm and homely environment for the residents, whilst providing the best care possible. The home welcomes relatives at anytime and they are encouraged to take part in all the activities that take place in the home.

We have established excellent links with the local community including the nearby Church and local GP practice. Many of our residents enjoy weekly visits to the local coffee mornings and various community events.

Chris and Geraldine Smith (the Directors of Coate Water Care Co. Ltd) are locally based and are frequent visitors to Church View Care Home. Michelle McKeever is the Home Manager at Church View and is responsible for the day to day management of the home, supported by Karen Wright, the Deputy Manager and Anne Wyatt, The Home Administrator..

In addition to our dedicated Activities Coordinators who ensure that residents are kept occupied with a packed calendar of events, we have an excellent team of Registered Nurses, experienced carers and ancillary staff who get fully involved in all aspects of care and activities in the home demonstrating that they really put the ‘care’ into their home.

Church View's accommodation comprises of 29 single rooms and 7 companionship / double rooms, located over two floors with all having en suite facilities. Residents also have access to a lounge and dining area on each floor and a ground floor conservatory, which leads out to an attractive enclosed garden, and patio area. There is a passenger lift serving both floors.

Meals at Church View are freshly prepared daily using both local and reputable suppliers. Meals are varied, nutritious and well balanced. Residents can choose their meals according to dietary requirements or personal taste. All meals are prepared on-site by our resident chef and her team.

We pride ourselves on our welcoming family environment, high standards of care, facilities and the service we provide to our seniors.
